Nazaray is a song about longing for old times while creating new memories. It’s about a feeling of fulfillment and creating something you love and have passion for.
A song that expresses a time in your life where you feel lost and confused and despite whatever you do you can’t seem to get it right. In times like these all you can do is absorb your surroundings and make the most of what you have and create new memories that will give you the strength to go forward.
We decide to establish a space of childlike whimsy deciding to shoot at a theme park, a place with fun and great memories. While shooting I was able to take some really interesting long exposure shots of the lights at the park which inspired the final cover.
The font chosen is in the language Urdu, native to the country of Pakistan where both the artists are from.
I created some double exposure shots for the artist’s profile.
The music video was created by merging many videos together and layering them in
a way that highlighted different aspects of the city of Karachi, a place very close
to these musicians.
