Experiential Strategy — Wear Your Story
Truck art in Pakistan has long served as a form of visual storytelling. Artisans decorate vehicles with symbols, patterns, colors, and imagery that can represent where a driver comes from, their beliefs, memories, and personal history, turning each truck into a moving expression of identity.
This in-store experience translates that tradition into personalized shoe design. Visitors explore a curated wall of truck-art symbols and learn directly from artisans about their cultural meanings and origins. They then select the symbols that resonate with their own identity or story and use them to customize a pair of shoes.
Once completed, each participant contributes their design to a larger truck-inspired installation, allowing individual stories to collectively build the artwork over time. The experience transforms customization from simply choosing an aesthetic into an act of cultural discovery, storytelling, and self-expression, taking the spirit of Pakistani truck art from the road to something you can wear.
