After studying the initial site , we realized its shortcomings in terms of design. And came up with a set of Goals and objectives to make the environment more comfortable :
Use passive Design interventions to reduce energy consumption
Reduce the heating and cooling loads while maintaining indoor comfort
Balance thermal conditions on the North and South side
Conclusion :
Combination of sun space and tree shading creates a complementary system
The Addition of a Passive thermal alternative makes optimal use of the existing VAV reheat system
The intervention also provides fresh air, increasing occupant health comfort while reducing energy consumption
